Limited activities in the resort. game room not well equipped and maintained. Food was good, staff wonderful. Getting in/out of the property is a very old/bad condition road, but transportation is always available either hotel car or Uber.

The resort is away from Kochi with little convenience around the property. We found the restuarant to be limited for 3 meals a day and the prices were quite high. The resort is quite but also soulless. Quite when no weddings were being hosted and they were dismentaling the setup with bangging at 5am outside our window.

Good swimming pool. Rooms are neat. Booking with breakfast not available in Expedia, hence that turned out extra. Children activity centre is very average.

Firstly, a luxury room was expected to have a bathtub in the bathroom. It was shown in the pics on Expedia but this is available only in a Presidential suite. This was not expected at all. The room 314 had absolutely no sound proofing. The objective of booking a luxury room was to unwind and relax. Howeve, the folks in the adjacent room were very noisy from 7 am itself. I understand some guests have kids but we could literally hear all conversations in the other room.

A Sad excuse for a 5 Star hotel
Firstly, do not expect a 5 star hotel experience. Starting from the lobby, the disappointment begins. The furnishings and finish of the lobby is not good.

Due to COVID19 situation, resort was not very well maintained. Pool and SPA were also not operational due to COVID. Though well mannered and friendly staff tried their best with their excellent service level to improve the situation.

Happy stay but window with no view
Ramada Kochi is one of the beat properties in Kochi. The stay was good. But the room I got dint have a view at all. My window opened to a car parking and even though there were many rooms vacant. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Beautiful views, comfortable stay, but some issues
Really nice property on a sprawling complex with friendly, helpful staff and a decent breakfast spread. Also has great lake views and a pretty impressive pool. We'd deliberately booked the Luxury Lake View Room and not one of the Cottages because we'd liked the decor of the former better, in the pictures we saw online. However, the pictures were unfortunately misleading with images of the Presidential Suite mixed with the others and raising our expectations a bit too highWe asked the Ramada staff to be more mindful of these things because plenty of people book through these sites and their pics are the only reference We also happened to be staying at the hotel during peak wedding season in India. 2 weddings..lots of noise. One of the wedding parties had booked the Presidential Suite right next to us and had loud, drunken "conversations" and brawls until really late in the night. Some warning about the noise would have been good - these guests had been staying here multiple days..so if they'd been anywhere as loud as they were our first night there, the staff should've known about it. The escalating noise situation was also quite poorly managed by the hotel security. Other guests got into heated sweary arguments with the guests in the Presidential Suite. All in all, not bad. But those issues put a dampner on an otherwise pleasant stay

The bad: 
-the rooms are freezing cold and you can’t control the temperature 
-the ‘hottest’ temperature setting on the shower is just barely warm enough for a comfortable shower 
-fungus and mould in some areas of the shower 
-the shower does not drain properly so within seconds you’re standing in a puddle of water which leaks out onto the entire bathroom floor 
-terrible Wifi 
-the breakfast restaurant, Fennel, was very cold -the service at Fennel overall was friendly but just incredibly poor; food had to be sent back, wrong orders brought to us, the simplest of items took way too long to be prepared, requests were frequently forgotten or neglected
-the staff are not properly trained; trying to coordinate a spa appointment or get answers to everyday type questions took hours

-often we would try calling the front desk during business hours and nobody answers 
-without any advanced notice, there were numerous restaurant closures the staff in general are just not well informed, trained, or coordinated...it felt like every person working here it was their first day. Again, not saying they weren’t friendly or that they didn’t try, we just observed a much lower expected standard...it’s clear the management does not truly care about or have a passion for hospitality

We are tourists and when we go to a resort for some time out we do not expect to be told that the bars will not serve alcohol because the government has banned sales of alcohol during the elections. WE SHOULD BE EXEMPT. We should be able to present our passport and have exemption from such a crazy rule. It effects tourism. My wife slipped and fell over on a wet slippery floor. She bumped her head and had to liue down for afew hours resting and recuperating. There were no signs to say floor cleaning in progress to warn of possible slippery floors. This dramaticaly impacted our evaluation of this resort.

Staff service was amazing throughout stay. Food at Fennel is very good. We booked 4 rooms in total. Got a great price on Expedia. A/c in one room was not working but it was pleasant enough and we did not complain.

really the location of the resort is beautiful and its good worth stay we want to come back one suggestion that as we are vegetarian we also want to have a food outside near river by seeing the nature it can be arranged if possible

Great resort away from it all
Really, the only downside is that it is some distance from attractions you would want to visit, necessitating transport everywhere but, in a way, that's also a strength. Its a beautiful location and very well maintained- the pictures genuinely reflect how it is. Restaurants provide good quality and choice; staff very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Quiet getaway
Our stay at Ramada Kochi was relaxing and restorative. While there is no beach, the pool is beautiful and the view of the river ever-changing. The food was delicious and while the meal preparation was a little bit slow, it was, in the end, worth the wait. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. It was disappointing that there were no kayaks available and that the evening boat rides were not able to be enjoyed due to boat maintenance during our stay. But other than that it was a lovely experience and I would recommend it to others. There are many daytrips available to go and see the surrounding areas. NOTE: Do not go to the Elephant Training centre as it is extremely unpleasant. While the elephants appear to get enough to eat, they are all chained to trees or posts and are not able to move about. One particular elephant was obviously ill and suffering and two were head weaving which is a sign of distress and mental anguish. These elephants are not rescued, they are captured and not treated well or humanely.
