The property has a nice view of the Kobe Harbor. There is also a free shuttle bus that will take you to Sannomiya Eki Mae. On the other hand, I would like to see the Hotel Bar Lounge stay open until 1:30 a.m.

False advertising. The hotel advertised as adult only onsen but there were few children running around & shouting or playing with their iPad loudly in the restaurant. Nothing was done to stop them. Had I known, will not pay to stay here. The food are way below average.

The hotel was new & very modern. The Onsen for the public and guests were amazing. The location was near great shopping and our room was looking onto the bay. It was confusing to find the limousine bus picking us up at the train station. However, they only pick up every 30 minutes so it might be better to take the cab which was not that expensive. We would recommend this hotel highly.

Beautiful huge room with Western beds and Japanese sitting area and futon bedding available. Great view to Meriken Park across the water. Great attached onsen facility with many different bath pools including outdoor rock garden style pool - advantage of staying as hotel guest is ability to access onsen facility at opening or just before closing when onsen-only guests have not arrived yet or have left. Half board rate features buffets for both breakfast and dinner with many food offerings and several Kobe beef dishes at dinner. Service is excellent. Wifi in room is weak and slow, especially for laptop use.

The location is good, overall staffs are very good, welcoming and trying to give good experience. But, after checkout, my son had carsickness from short trip to the city and want to have some minutes of calmdown. One of the staff came close and never asking why nor what happened to the child, told us "he should not sleep in the lobby". I think they still need to learn what real politness means. As far as I know the class of the facilty comes from how much you care about a person.

Great hotel, excellent food and service!
We stayed at this hotel for the final 2 nights of our trip before returning to Australia and we absolutely loved it. The facilities were fantastic, very clean and well looked after. The service was excellent and the room was huge, clean and very well equipped. I have to mention the food, oh my goodness the food was incredible! There was so much to chose from and you could go back as many times as you liked. Yes it is buffet style but as with a lot of places in Japan there were also some chef stations where they were cooking food fresh. I tried and enjoyed everything even with my western palate. There was a shuttle bus to the station which was handy as the hotel is quite a distance from the station. This is really the only downside to this hotel as it is in the harbour area and there is no real way to get there other than the hotel shuttle bus or by taxi, unless you are driving of course. Again the location lets the hotel down a bit for the surrounding area which is generally light industrial warehousing, etc. although the views from the hotel itself across the harbour are excellent. If you are prepared to go for a walk it takes about 30mins (at a slow pace) to get to the Meriken Park area where you will find the Kobe Port Tower, Harborland, the Kobe earthquake memorial, the Kobe Maritime Museum and Kawasaki Good Times World (basically the history of Kawasaki but surprisingly interesting). All in all I give this hotel a big thumbs up and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to distress and relax
There were many spas here and even a private one for stay in customers if they chose to avoid the crowd. The dinner buffet spread was great but it is Japanese and not international so it might not suit everyone's taste.

My feedback for the visit.
All the staffs are very friendly and helpful, excellent customer service througout my stay. When I ask the staff to book a taxi for my departure of early morning, the staff offer to prepare a bento box as a breadfast. It wasn't about the value of the bento box but the fact that the staff is so caring that she offers such service. My mother and I were very touch by such gesture. I noticed there are many elderly clients in the hotel, therefore it would be difficult for them to get up after sitting on the bedroom floor. Perhaps an armchair in the bedroom would be good for those who cannot sit on floor easily. The buffet is of good quality and standards, I personnelly would like to see noodles can be available. Also fresh fruit seems to be in short supply.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. However. there were not many types of food served for the dinner and breakfast buffet. The public hot spring on 1st floor was ok. It has indoor and outdoor hot spring. The hot spring for hotel guests on 10th floor was small with sea view. We could use both of them.
