"Nice resort positioned on beach. The staff were all really lovely, very helpful and friendly. The evening restaurant was not open for my stay so can’t comment on that but breakfast was good. I was pleased I booked a beach cabin as was nice being right at the front of the resort. Beach is lovely but not so easy to swim as shallow for a long way out and quite a lot of rocks. Pool was large and plenty of beds. Was only a 7 minute walk into town (either out on road or you can go by beach and cut through). Lots of good bars and restaurants. I’d recommend Porns restaurant which is a 5-10 min stroll south on the beach, right on seafront, delicious food and perfect views including sunset."

"Lovely little resort and great location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and meals are available throughout the day and early evening. Beach area is nice and clean, however, walking further away from the resort there is a lot of plastic, which is a shame. The gardens are immaculate. The accommodation is quite small and the bathrooms out side. The beds are quite hard and it took a couple of days to get used to them. If I return to Koh Kood I will definitely book this resort. "

"Beautiful location with an exclusive feel. Bungalow 5 offered a fantastic vista. Everybody working on site was happy, welcoming and friendly (including Coco, Oreo, Lazy and Day the dogs (maybe that's just Thailand)). The breakfast was lovely, fluffiest pancakes I've ever had! "We had a wonderful stay 2-night stay at the Shantaa during our recent trip to Koh Kood. We felt instantly relaxed upon arrival. The rooms were well spaced and very private feeling. The food at the restaurant was nice and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast experience. The staff were amazing and we weree well looked after. "
