The Full Moon Inn

Frome

10/10 Excellent

Had a great stay, room 1 was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and a sofa was a bonus. Great bath, one thing to note may be the addition of a shower curtain, we managed to soak the floor every time we used it. Water and orange juice was a nice touch and filtered coffee was tasty. We did feel the stairs were very deep and the additional of another hand rail may be something to consider. Lovely dark room and we slept so well. Breakfast was great, nice to see all local and home grown...

The Pembroke Arms

Salisbury

10/10 Excellent

A lovely stay at the Pembroke Arms. There was plenty of free parking to the rear of the Inn. Reception was efficient and friendly. Our room - two double beds so for four people - was large and comfortable with lovely touches like TeaPig teas and ground coffee. The room itself was quite cold but reception turned the heating up for us and it was a really cold day so no complaints. We ate in the hotel that evening - a really nice restaurant and delicious (massive) pies. Breakfast was one of the...

The George & Dragon

Devizes

10/10 Excellent

Our host really did make our brief stay enjoyable. The George and Dragon has a style of its own and if tradition mixed with modern comfort is what you are seeking then this pub and restaurant will not disappoint you. They work to earn their reputation. The staff are both pleasant and engaging. It may be a cliche but you really will be made to feel welcome. Watch out for misinformation about its location. It is in the village of Rowde outside of Devizes.

The George Inn and The Plaine

Bath

10/10 Excellent

We had driven past the George on our way to a further destination in October and decided to have Sunday lunch there on our way back as it looked rather stunning. We had a fantastic Sunday roast. We then decided a Xmas treat was due and we chose to stay the night on the 19th of December. Our expectations were met with overall high standards. Michelle is a great asset to the George Inn, She looked after us superbly on both occasions, she also gave us lots of interesting facts about the George...
