"We had booked a room at the hotel, but it turned out the room was located in a separate 4 room cottage down a trail where we had to drive by car. We did not feel comfortable there, and room was relatively expensive. Therefore we drove back to the reception to ask for a room at the main hotel. In the reception they claimed that we had booked a room in the cottage. But no cottages were shown at booking by pictures or in writing, nor in our confirmation. "Very nice hotel with an inviting lobby area to hang out in and great restaurant. We were there on New Year’s Day so had dinner at the restaurant and it was pizza night so enjoyed a few delicious pizzas. "

"Check in staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was basic but well maintained and had tea/coffee machine. Location next to Kassel HBF so easy access to trains and bus transport."
