"Our room was exceptionally clean and bright. The paint was new, or looked new, and it brightened the room considerably. We did have an issue with the toilet after midnight. I went down to the desk, and reported it, and the maintenance man was there at 7:00am the next morning. It worked for a day, and went on the blink again. I reported it again, and the chief engineer showed up. He fixed it for good. Very prompt service. All of the staff were friendly."

"We had a three night stay and found the hotel while not ocean front to be in a good location. You can walk to the beach access but with young children it’s super easy just to drive to one of the beach accesses. Our room was on the smaller side but clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and grabbing a cart to unload was too. The pool isn’t big but it never got incredibly crowded. The breakfast buffet was okay but got a little crowded and there’s some great places to go for breakfast at the obx. They have a pancake machine and coffee machines! I would stay here again."

"The place was nice. Easy beach access. Pools were nice. Everything was within walking distance. Only downside was the last 5 miles was back up for up to an hour."
