Great option for the price
Everything is advertised and it's a great option for the price. We enjoy the sauna, but there was always someone there. It would be great to have a sheet of paper where people can "book" timeslots.

The Location is fantastic, few blocks from the center and close to bus stations. Even though the building looks a bit old, our room was cozy and warm, and everything was pretty much new.

The hotel is in town and is walkng distance to the restaurants. The room served its purpose for an overnight stay. It is clean, however it is outdated.

Rather tired hotel, half in a separate building. But will be torn down soon, as part of moving the entire city of Kiruna (!), due to mining activities below ground, so not surprising. Staff very helpful. Breakfast basic, but adequate. Wifi ok, hotel computer for guests in name only; couldn't load the main internet page. Room comfortable, quiet.

Hotel was not far from bus station. Hotel is located at bottom of small hill, so if you have heavy luggage it is hard to drag it uphill to the bus stop for bus to airport or central station. Nice breakfast. Basic room, no kettle and tea/coffee in room. Bed was comfortable. Heat was not adjustable. Nice staff. Shower leaked a bit but able to wipe with extra towels.

Pleasantly surprised with the room
The hotel looks a bit worn down from the outside and does not have a very impressive lobby but I was pleasantly surprised by the room and the bathroom. The room is very cosy, with cosy light and reindeer blankets :) the beds are comfortable and the view was amazing! Facing entire town and the mountain, I bet it would have also offered a glimpse of Northern lights if the weather allowed. The room was clean and warm and the bathroom was modern. The walls are thin so you could here people closing their doors when they walk in and out, but it was not a problem during the night and morning. The breakfast wasn’t great but it had all the essentials. I loved my stay at the hotel and can definitely recommend.

Good place but checkin on time
Hotel was great. Rooms are comfortable and so are the beds. If you are going to be late for checkin I would pick so where else as checkin after 2330 is difficult.

Close to the center of Kiruna, like tourists center and the bus stop to airport. But a bit unreasonable for a night of around $1200 SEK.

Decent hotel. Big rooms. Great location.
Great location with easy access to shopping center, grocery and restaurants. Some trouble with the credit card terminal so best to have cash ready. Don't expect a great breakfast. I Highly recommend to rent a car when going to Kiruna. Luckily the hotel has ample parking space and car warmers to beat the cold. The hotel could use an upgrade but for a short stay it works. Staff are generally friendly but not always around. The airport is only 12-15 mins away and the gas station is on the way so traveling in and out is very convenient. Overall the hotel experience was okay. Convenient enough for a short stay as long as you do t mind the same food everyday. Location and parking are the best reasons for choosing this hotel. As for service you'll just have to be more proactive in getting the info you need. Overall score 3 out of 5. Improvements needed on facilities and staff friendliness.

Fine for a 1-night stay.
The hotel consists of a row of three buildings, with all of the services in the first, while stayed in the third (and, most likely, cheapest). The staff was friendly and helpful, but not always manning the desk. The location is in an area of apartment houses on the town's periphery, but near a small shopping center with some fast food outlets. It was fine for one night, which is probably what most visitors to this remote location seek.

Bathroom was outdated, room was kept warm by a space heater. Woke up very hot because you cannot set a temperature. Bathroom products included only a 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash to be used also as the hand wash at the sink.

Good value in Kiruna
The check in was easy and she let me check in early since I arrived in Kiruna at 11 am. The free breakfast was good and the fresh bread was delicious. Overall, good hotel.

Excellent experience
Helpful and gentle staff. The breakfast was amazing and healthy. Rooms very clean and cozy. Comfortable beds. Very close to the Bus stop from Kiruna Airport. Closest to the Tourist Information Center and shopping stores. I recommend 100% this hotel.

Nice older hotel.
Very nice and helpful staff. Rates seem to depend on the night of the week that you stay. Our friends recommended Kebne to us. Very good breakfast. FYI the town of Kiruna shuts down on Sunday.

Hotel Kebne was a great place to stay. The beds were very comfortable, I didn't check but most likely they are Carpe Diem beds!! We had a large room with a sofa and table sitting room. Worked out perfect for us to visit the liquor store and play a game of Monopoly. The staff meet our every request (wine glasses, directions, information, etc) with a smile. The location is just 2 blocks from the shopping street, it's really a short walk. It's even closer to the bus stop and airport bus stop. Typical Swedish breakfast buffet. But this is the only place that had cooked eggs (fried eggs in particular) for breakfast, catering to my American customs.

Stayed at Hotell Kebne for one night while in Kiruna. Located just minutes away from the Central Station and walking distance to the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful when I needed directions to get to Luossavaara and they offered to help me call for a cab to the airport when I checked out. Enjoyed the sauna too!
