"Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!"

"Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage."

"The apartment was located in central location - close to all restaurants, bars and the beach. However the apartment was located in a very industrial area. From the outset, the apartment looked good however the bathrooms were not cleaned, the living area were not vacuumed properly as there were crisp crumbs everywhere and when it rain the roof leaked in the middle of the living room. Very poor experience and never to book again."

"I had a very pleasant stay at the Abbotsford Hotel in Ayr. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was straightforward. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short visit. The hotel has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and breakfast was enjoyable with a decent range of options. The location was convenient for getting around Ayr without any hassle. Overall, it was a solid, comfortable stay that offered good value for money. I left feeling pleased with my choice and would consider staying again on a future trip."

Breakfast food was excellent also and the lady was very helpful when we arrived. Great experience in a lovely hotel."
