"I really liked this hotel. We had a room in the building on the island which was very picturesque with fantastic views and a big corner room.
The building itself is a bit 'knock-about'. It has the faded grandeur of an old hotel, but that just added to its charm. The swimming pool has a lovely aspect looking out on to the lake and is perfectly serviceable, but the spa in the main hotel opposite really is luxury, with state of the art treatment rooms and a really high end vibe.
