Lovely Boutique Hotel
Our room was lovely, spacious and clean. The service was excellent. Only concern is the room was warm and the giant window only opened a crack. The room did have three fans, which we used all night. Other than ventilation, it’s a great boutique hotel!

We enjoyed our stay. Nicely renovated, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. The nice surprise was the train pass we were given upon our arrival and the close proximity of the train station. We took the train into Freiberg and it was super easy and better than having to drive and find parking.

This was an amazing place to stay. It had beautiful views of the mountains. The staff was very helpful. We loved the history of the building as well. We ended up booking an additional night. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely loved our stay here - the hotel is cute and cozy with a cafe/restaurant downstairs and guest rooms upstairs. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom was very nice and modernized. We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Himmelreich train station (where some of the shuttles for the Ravennaslucht Christmas market pick up). We were also pleasantly surprised upon check-in when we were given 2 tickets for the public transpiration service (didn’t realize it was included). We used those tickets to ride the train into Freiburg for dinner one night. We didn’t use the sauna onsite but it sounded nice and it was good to know it was available. Would definitely stay here again if road tripping through the Black Forest.

Great quiet location

Excellent countryside stay
Large room, stylish decor and comfortable bed. Good location a few minutes walk from Himmelreich station, 20 minutes to Freiburg and Titersee. Sauna and steam room, good restaurant and helpful staff. Good architectural renovation of building. If you stay here you receive a Konus card giving you free travel in Baden Wurttenburg on public transport. Only downside was no air conditioning, although the room did have a fan, and noise from adjacent rooms.

We were in the Blumen Room. It was full of flowers! Restaurant was superb. We had the Florentine Rösti which was delicious. Breakfast was also excellent - the freshly baked bread was outstanding.

Lovely hotel and staff. Close enough to variious places of interest. The town is very nice with a few cafes and hotels. Train station is around the corner and bus routes for easy travel to Freiberg and places of interest

Beautiful, quaint and GREAT FOOD.
What an amazing place to stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and the food at the hotel restaurant was great. My only comment is that it was extremely hot while we were there and there is no air-conditioning in the rooms. I would suggest a ceiling fan rather than a floor fan.

Die Unterkunft war klasse. Wunderbar gelegen in einer ruhigen Umgebung mit schönem Blick auf den Schwarzwald. Das Essen im Hotel, sowie das Frühstücksbuffet, war ausgezeichnet. Leider war aber während unserem Besuch im oberen Stockwerk eine Weihnachtsfeier. Dadurch war es den Nachmittag über lauter, aber abends war das dann auch wieder vorbei. Auf jeden Fall ein absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel

Uns hat es super gut gefallen, haben auch mehrfach im Hotel gegessen, sehr zu empfehlen :). Ein kleines Manko, bei der Wärme hatten wir die Fenster Nachts geöffnet und früh morgens ist halt schon einiges auf der Strasse los. Sonst gäbe es die volle Punktzahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder…
