"Avoid!! Hotel in great location and should have been nice BUT.... I don't normally write reviews but this place was a nightmare from the start. On my arrival at 10.30pm from the airport, reception showed me to a tiny dark room with no view rather than the double dulux with lake view I'd booked. They told me Expedia had not paid them enough, my booked room wasn't available and this is all I could have - what a scam! The place was empty and the excuse was an obvious lie. Refused to accept the room...

"Our group loved our stay. The rooms were spacious and had king size beds. The staff at the hotel is friendly and accommodating. The view of the lake was a huge plus. The owner was nice enough to provide a swing on our porch so we could enjoy the views. The food was my favorite part. They provide free breakfast menu which was delicious! We loved it so much we booked our last night after safari there. Highly recommend this stay. "

"Beautiful grounds, well-priced, extremely clean rooms and fast, efficient airport shuttle. We truly enjoyed our one night stay at Papyrus! The cuisine was also excellent and the choices were quite varied! Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help with any detail, no matter how small. "This place was wonderful for our family. The staff were so kind and helpful. They had a car on the premise and were able to make multiple trips for us. Breakfast was brought to our apartment each morning, and was very tasty. The apartment itself is comfortable and has everything you need. Very close to airport. Would definitely stay here again. "
