"Great place to stay in Kinsale. Right on the edge of town in a quiet neighborhood. Just is very nice and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. "
"We loved the view from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We took a longer walk over the nearby bridge to see the beach and old fort. Breakfast was also really good, and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant with a view of the marina. We would love to go back again, and we would highly recommend to friends and family!"
"The property is excellent. 5 Stars!!!
The problem was that we went to the address given on the confirmation but nobody was there to talk to. Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. Luckily for us, one of the residents across the street came and contacted the people at Urban Retreats. Since there are lock boxes it would be very easy to supply the lock box code on the confirmation email; with the...

It is a very unique and quaint town. There are many friendly pubs around. I would have like to hear more Irish music, but I believe weekends are the best to find more venues with Irish music.

This property is walkable to city centre, which has so much to see and a super cute pedestrian district. Perfect stop along the south coast of Ireland to celebrate finish of the Wild Atlantic Way!

Having visited a number of times 30 years ago it's now lacking the charm & ambience of old. A victim of its own success.
"The property is situated in a beauriful remote area, and looks stunning from outside. The reception staff was very smart and helpful, and the room was beautiful. The gym is well equipped, however the sauna did not work and the steam room would benefit from an essential oil smell, rather than musty smell. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, my favourite being the handmade soda bread. Top quality food and perfect service. There are lovely walks around the place and the views are stunning, but I am sure I wrote that already. Very happy with our stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Old Bank House. Lovely staff, beautiful room, comfortable bed, spacious space in the heart of Kinsale. Our breakfast was the best we had in Ireland. "
"Right in the middle of Kinsale but without the noise and crowds you would expect. The managers were helpful and proactive a lot time of check in.
Fantastic coffee with an easy Nespresso machine plus refrigerator, spa-like towels, lots of outlets and a fan. Never met the owner/manager but spoke several times over the phone and felt we’ll taken care of"
