Thrybergh Bridge This carried the former Great Central and Midland Railways' joint line across the River Don. The pool in the foreground is probably the result of mining subsidence.
The River Don from Kilnhurst bridge. The Don flows through Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster. Sometimes the level rises ten feet or more above this quiet flow.

Pretty hotel. We had a wonderful stay in room 121. The suite had a beautiful 4 poster and the bathroom a huge roll top bath. We visited the spa and had an excellent breakfast. Lovely stay. Will return.
