discovered a new favorite!

I was delighted to discover Hotel Lebanon in Kigali. I chose it because it is conveniently located near the airport and I needed an overnight hotel between flights. It is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced-- much nicer than a hotel nearby where I have stayed before that charges double! The staff are helpful and welcoming. They even arranged an extra early breakfast for me before my departure. It is a peaceful setting and there is a beautiful garden and pool. My only regret is that I didn't stay long enough to fully enjoy this delightful hotel. Next time!

Zac in Kigali

The hotel certainly does not deserve 4 stars because the room is relatively small (very small work desk), and especially the small bathroom, so actually low level 3 stars. The air conditioner works, but it can't cool the room very much because every once in a while it goes off regardless of whether the set temperature is reached. Breakfast is a very small choice and practically inedible because everything is very cold (potatoes, rice, meat?, boiled egg, no baked, no jam, but no butter). Breakfast is not even for any one star hotel. In contrast, the outside of the hotel is nice and tidy because it has a swimming pool, a beautiful garden, terraces. The front desk staff are friendly and ready to help.

Good hotel if you get the right room.

Great budget hotel, but make sure to get a room with a pool view. I received a room at the ground floor to start with that was not really up to standards. The staff was very friendly and arranged a new room within minutes. The next room I received had a pool view and I was very happy with it. My colleague received a room with a street view. It was noisy from the bar in the evenings and had no AC or balcony. The overall quality of the rooms seems to differ a lot. If you get a room with a pool room - you will be very happy. The kitchen offers great food for a good price, and the breakfast was good. You need to request omelettes, pancakes etc. which is not very clear unless you ask for it. The cleanness overall is very good at the hotel. The Wifi is very slow and unstable. The free airport transfer is very good and available 24/7.

Welcoming staff with good value

Lovely helpful staff. Always willing to help. Good sized pool. Early morning staff spend great deal of time cleaning so feels tidy. One of better breakfasts. Dinner salads are well presented us3 good quality food and nicely presented. Made me feel comfortable and cared for. The checkout could be improved a bit to help speed up for business persons. Free shuttle was welcome. Close to airport. A review had said WiFi was good but found depending on where you were in hotel it was variable on voice apps. Many different WiFi’s requiring sign in location dependant. Overall I would return as provided good value.
