A wonderland of lights, sausages, sizzling pad thai, the need to quench thirst, sticky skin, tingling insect repellent, heaps of Thai folk marching in masses, strange opulence, ridiculously ornate costumes, funny pants with theatrical and musical performances at every turn marked our arrival to Thailand. A 14 hr flight, 45 min metro, 3 hr train ride was no big thing compared to the King Narai the Great festival in Lopburi.

These little guys have completely taken over the centre of the city and humans are losing the battle. They're cute and disgusting in equal measure... don't miss it if you're in Thailand.
