"Positives: Convenient location for travelers. Very helpful and friendly staff! Welcoming for guests with dogs. Soaps and shampoos very good smelling. Negatives: The room was comfortable but had old carpeting and there were some bathroom walls/light switches that needed cleaning. The room did not have a coffee maker."

"What we liked about our stay….everything!! We loved our bed!! Was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on!! Food was delicious and you just can’t ask for more. Everything was so clean and staff was great…from the ladies at check in to the bartender at 5:30…and the ladies at breakfast were all so nice and helpful! They all seemed to enjoy their jobs and seemed to enjoy people! Can’t wait to come again!! This was a little last minute get away to relax and that’s exactly what we did!! I didn’t want to leave. We intend to come again to this same location soon!!"

"We had a 3 night stay at The Respite and it was wonderful! It was peaceful and relaxing, and oh so beautiful! The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Breakfast was a treat and the location was very convenient; an easy walk to the National Quilt Museum, the Riverwalk and the vibrant downtown area. Staying at The Respite was the highlight of our visit!"

"Room was fine. But we were supposed to have a non-smoking room and obviously smoking had happened in the room. When I called the front desk to let them know, they offered to change our room"

"It is an older property but room was clean and the area was quiet. The shower shampoo and soap dispensers were empty and had it not been so late I would have walked to the desk to ask for some. The front desk clerk was very nice and attentive at check-in. I would stay here again."
