We had friends visit us for lunch one day, they were staying at other resorts and were impressed with our site. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. "We stayed at Gold Zanzibar for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! We booked a garden villa and it was so spacious, and the private plunge pool was very fun to have. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our butler, Jackeline, was so helpful and friendly! They also gifted us a bottle of champagne and fruit on our arrival which was so nice. There are shows with dinner every night which are really wonderful, and the buffet options are PHENOMENAL! We had a full body wrap and massage at the spa which was lovely, and went on a spice tour and sunset dhow cruise organized through the hotel which were fabulous! The hotel also gifted us a private romantic dinner on the beach and the sunset dhow cruise as honeymoon gifts which was very generous. The beach is beautiful, and it is so nice to have the private cabanas as where the public portion of the beach starts can be a bit hectic and crowded. Highly recommend staying here!"
