Relaxing stay

Holiday in Cephalonia

A beautiful location for this studio. We had a sea view which was beautiful and we could sit on the balcony every morning with the sun coming up over the mountains. Owner and family, lovely people, very friendly and helpful. Brought us breakfast as a kind gesture, was a pleasant surprise. The room was cleaned every day, except Sunday - a day of rest. Fresh towels were brought to us as we left ours out overnight and we had a torrential thunderstorm - it was such a kind thing to do. The bed was made up every day and the bathroom cleaned. The room consisted of a ho with 2 rings (electric) to cook on, a fridge with a small freezer. A wall cupboard which was stocked with general crockery, cutlery and cups etc and cooking utensils such as a frying pan and pan. Toiletries were provided free of charge. The owner also sold bottled water, which was reasonably priced. There was also free access to the wi-fi The beach and local shops are about a 15 minute walk away - straight down the road to the left out of the studios. Most people speak English at the shops and you can also purchase a British newspaper There are also a selection of tavernas along the beach - all reasonably priced and very friendly staff who serve you. A wonderful experience at Anastasia Studios. Would highly recommend

Amazing Anastasia Studios!

Dina and her son Chris were amazing hosts and so friendly! We arrived late but they kindly waited up to welcome us. The family run business is in a quiet location where they grow their own vegetables and keep some animals, perfectly away from the tourist hustle but close enough to walk to the waterfront and restaurants. Would rate this at least 3 stars as is much nicer than other hotels we've stayed at with this rating both in Kefalonia and other countries. Definitely recommend and hope to return in the future!

siamo stati bene per 3 settimane, la signora Ntina sempre premurosa, luogo silenzioso e tranquillo in atmosfera bucolica. Pulizie praticamente ogni giorno. Anche le frittate della signora che trovavamo in camera assieme ai prodotti dell'orto. Mai troppo caldo. Fuori animali e fiori. Torneremo di sicuro

A little bit of paradise,

Such friendly people, growing their own food no they have sheep, chickens, ducks. An idyllic place to stay. They brought us breakfast some mornings and cakes when we took relative there. We needed a car but if you have no mobility issues it's very walkable. Love it love it!!

Favourite stay of our trip!

Anastasia Studios was such an amazing find! Dina was so warm and welcoming and and the room was perfect for us. We were doing our own cooking during our stay and the kitchenette had everything we needed and more. We even got some fresh vegetables from Dina's garden! The room looked as though it was recently refurbed and it was cleaned every day. We opted for the air-conditioning which was an additional fee, but well worth it as they were in a heatwave at the time we stayed. The area of Katelios was so lovely (had no idea about the area prior), but we would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to stay away from the more touristy resort areas. Nearby beaches Kaminia and Koroni were some of our favourites from the whole island...and seemed off the beaten path. The mini port/marina area of Katelios with a strip of fish restaurants on the beach, was the perfect stroll for the evenings. Skala was only a 15 min drive away, which we went to a few times as well, if you are looking for some more lively action. I can't wait to return next year, and highly recommend staying in this accommodation if you are looking for a self-catering, peaceful stay with the most lovely host in the world!
