"Wonderful lodging in Three Rivers, CA. We only stayed for one night before going in Sequoia National Park, but it is a fun place. We especially enjoyed the Halloween decorations around the property and the humming birds! AC in the rooms are a life-safer. Would stay here again, if we ever get back to the area."

"We didn't get to spend a lot of time at the property. We arrived late our first night and spent the entire day in Sequoia the next day. Basically, we just slept there. We had the guest suite near the office. It was quiet and clean. It had a kitchenette to cook with. There is no nearby food options - so stop at a grocery store first. Our host was lovely, she shared some tips for being in the higher elevation and getting to/from the park. Would totally stay here again with the plan of enjoying the property more."

"Stony Creek Lodge is a rustic, older national park property, not a resort, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in at the market counter was quick, and electronic key cards provided access to our room and the exterior entrance. Our clean, tidy room had a queen bed, a twin bed, a large dresser, bedside tables, plenty of lighting, and a ceiling fan. The bathroom was simple, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Most rooms are upstairs, so keep that in mind when booking. The included breakfast was generous: eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, rotating meats and potatoes, plus breads, pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. We certainly didnโ€™t go hungry! The loungeโ€™s self-serve coffee and tea station was especially welcome before breakfast opened at 8 a.m. The snack bar offered made-to-order pizzas and salads, though hours varied during our stay. Staff were helpful and welcoming. They gave us advance notice of a two-hour water shutoff for repairs, allowing us to clean up before dinner. The lodge uses generator power, and we were also notified of a brief daytime interruption that didnโ€™t affect our plans. Come with realistic expectations for a rustic lodge, and youโ€™ll find a comfortable, welcoming base with the terrific convenience of staying inside the national park."

"The property is on the National park. The drive to the resort will take you through some narrow winding roads and it will take approximately an hour and a half to make it up there (approximately 23-25 miles). In some places, itโ€™s hard for two cars to get by. There was road construction going on, they closed the road down, so we had to schedule accordingly. Once you get up there you may not want to go back down to retrieve groceries, food, etc. No gas station, so gas up beforehand. Nice quiet resort, WiFi available, no tvs."
