"Leider ist das Zimmer im Sommer nicht zu gebrauchen wenn man das Balkontüre offen lassen will/muss. Die Straße mit dem dortigen Straßenrennen bia spät in die Nacht waren eine Katastrophe..
Der Check In war leider auch nicht problemlos."

Very nice stay at the hotel. Very quirky-shaped building, and the room we stayed in was very compact, but very nice. Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, and really close to the old town in Wetzlar. Would definitely recommend a stay there to experience such a historical location.

Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable bed, good shower and well equiped. The breakfast was very good and had a good selection of hot and cold food. My visit was for one night on business, I would stay at this hotel again.

Lovely small hotel close to the historic part of Wetzlar. An easy bus ride to the Leica Museum. Recommend a taxi from train station as there is some uphill walking. Cosy room, great restaurant, excellent breakfasts.

Friendly staff. Good sized room. A bit old school decor, but everything worked. Reasonable amount of parking spaces. Reception isn't open much past 8pm, but there is an efficient arrangement to obtain room keys later on. Would definitely consider staying again.

The hotel is on the hill, so be prepared for steep walking, if not by car. Hotel itself is quite modern, although not suitable for physically impaired persons-many stairs to climb and no ramp. The room was middle sized, good beds, but no air conditioning or fan, which was quite hard to bear in these high summer temperatures as even the night air was hot/window fully open. 2small complimentary bottles of mineral water in room, no tea or coffees, there was some vending machine past the lobby....

The hotel is a credit to the owner in every respect. My wife and I were on holiday to sample various areas of Germany. All staff were most welcoming and helpful. We only had one evening meal there but it was outstanding, and we have eaten in many fine restaurants around the world. It was the first stop on our holiday and it could not have been better. Our thanks to all the staff.
