The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Be sure to try the special Cinnamon Infused Ice Tea – it’s also lovely with some lemon gin in the evening! The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall tour is excellent. If you want a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place. It's a great way to enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!"

"A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk to tea plantations (1h) or hike down to a waterfall close by. A beautiful stay! Thanks "

"The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "
