Monks having a rest at the end of the rainbow during the monastery festival. Most inhabited by Chang-Pa nomads, at 4560 m, Korzok is probably the highest permanent settlement in India. Tso Moriri Lake, the backdrop of this village, is revered and considered sacred by the local people.
#TroveOn Mighty, endless, vast, abundant, clear, beautiful and pure…it touched and moved us like only Nature can. At Tso Moriri, all we could do was bow down and feel blessed at having witnessed it. My favourite place in India is this one, we saw a nomad tribe few km far from the lake and we participated at the most beautiful puja I ever saw in India. We woke up very early in the morning and the sunrise was great. Is a very peaceful wonderful place to be.
