"Our stay was lovely. Couldn’t fault the staff or the place. Everyone was so lovely and helpful.
The
pool was a godsend in the heat and it was so clean and welcoming.
Only issue we had was the heat, as we didn’t have air conditioning and the nights were so hot and we had trouble sleeping. One night my husband and son slept outside on the patio as it was cooler.
Also we had ants inside but this wasn’t a massive issue we just hoovered them up.
We will definitely be coming back next year with...

"W hi at an incredible surprise when we checked in. So much greater than the pics
The History of the place, and all the amenities. The room was spectacular looking over the park and canal. So peaceful. Yet it was so close to everything. This was the crown jewel in our visit to Netherlands. We fell in love with Utrecht. I will recommend Karel-V as top place to stay. The staff were so helpful getting us to the hotel when we got lost. Sent a taxi for us.
