"Nice properly, great for families, lazy river fun pool, with slides and hot tub areas , bbq grills ..Walking to Safeway and Ross ,ABC store. Traffic gets bad so it's nice it's close to airport. I would stay here again , very safe."
"The accommodation is in a great location, and all the staff are very friendly. The housekeeping staff are especially warm, friendly, and very welcoming."
"The place is just okay, but for the price you pay, it gets disappointing:
1. The room does not match their photo on the website, and it's way off. Double-check user-uploaded photos. There is ocean view in the room for sure.
2. Many corners in the room are obviously overlooked by the cleaning staff, and there's thick dust on surfaces like the top of the mirrors, etc. The hair dryer was all clogged with dust? But the front desk staff was helpful and replaced it with a new one after I brought this up.
3. There's no housekeeping during the 3 nights I spent there. And I don't think this was informed at check-in. So be aware.
4. Breakfast is close to none, yogurt, cereal, boxed milk, and some pre-packaged muffins."
"Owner Alicia was super sweet. Excellent customer service and helpful. The property was excellent, we got oceanfront so the beach was right out front. Our 4 year old loved the pool. And the room was out dated, which we're ok with. But only complaint is the tv was not working and the coffee machine, which I was really sad about. I never said anything bec I'm not the type to complain and not a huge deal."
"They were very accommodating. We needed a ground floor room because we were traveling with seniors with physical issues. Everything worked out great and having the full kitchen allowed us to work around some diet restrictions and save a little money. The hot tub jets didn't seem to be working but Everything else was great. Local shopping and the ocean is close."
"Great amenities. Beautiful views. Helpful staff. Convenient location between best beaches. Only problem, the beach the hotel is in is too dangerous to swim in. Just beautiful to look."
"My husband and I had an amazing honeymoon here and stayed for one week. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The kitchen had everything I needed and the washer and dryer worked well. The staff was always available and made sure we knew how to reach them if we needed anything:)
The pool was amazing, and we loved taking little walks on the beach since the resort has such easy beach access. We even got to see monk seals during our stay!
My favorite was we had a garden-view room, and was able to enjoy views of both the beach and the gardens.
PS: Parking was super easy! We never struggled to find a spot:)"
"The Fern Grotto Inn was absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location for accessing all areas of the island without making the drive too long. The River Cottage was perfect, the bed and pillows were so comfy! We were extremely happy with our stay."
