Top Kanto Region Hotel Reviews
Narita Tobu Hotel Airport
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel staff are amazing from bus drivers to front desk to cooks and housekeeping! Just book it!"
The Prince Park Tower Tokyo - Preferred Hotels & Resorts, LVX Collection
8/10 Good
"Overall, a pretty pleasant stay with some nice surprises, but just enough that was not great that I won't be inclined to rebook (especially for these prices). Pros: - It was lovely having a balcony to step out and get some fresh air - My bathtub had jets! plus there were complementary bath salts - Tower view was amazing - The atrium is something out of sci fi -- felt like being in a spacecraft - 2 bottles of complementary water in the room - Lawson konbini in the basement - Wonderful park just outside - When I had A/C challenges, they brought a bladeless fan, very helpful - Bluetooth speaker on desk that paired easily with my phone - Firm but comfortable bed (pretty standard in Japan, except the ANA hotels where the beds are like rock) - Great bathroom lighting - Bell desk service was very warm and helpful Cons: - Use of the pool is not included in the room rate, even the club room, and costs Y3,000 - Also, the pool is really just for working out (laps or walking), not so much for relaxing, it's not a relaxing atmosphere - At tea time in the lounge, the food platters were empty 90% of the time - The A/C struggled when it was a hot day out out, it couldn't cool below 24 C, which is too warm for sleeping, but the fan they brought helped a lot - Light switches in the room are not easy to understand; I never did figure out how to control one or two, and I never figured out how to turn on the do-not-disturb light outside my room (but I saw othr rooms with it on)"
Shinagawa Prince Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Love this location. Close to train station. Everything was perfect. Beds were super comfortable."
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
8/10 Good
"This is a nice hotel. The rooms are small, but well appointed. A lot of thought was put into making everything fit. There is a small refrigerator. Not a queen-sized bed, just a standard double. The bathrooms are good sized though, two separate rooms really, a sink/toilet, and a shower/tub. Nice deep tub. Good water pressure. The air conditioning was excellent! For an English speaking guest, the TV is not too watchable. I could only find a BBC news channel that repeated the same news all day. The rest of the channels are in Japanese. Several restaurants on the ground floor, and a 24 hour 7-11 store that filled many needs."
Shinjuku Granbell Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. Easy check in. Very clean. Helpful and nice staff. Good breakfast options & buffet style."
