This property on a scale of 1-10 is a 20!! Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and we greeted immediately upon entering the building. She provided us with some great suggestions for places to go, to see and some hidden gems for dining! Our room was spotless and just perfect. There was everything we needed and then some. I can’t say enough great things about this stay! Oh and the hot tub was the cherry on top!

Hotel was great. Very nice room. Expedia however was horrible. Reservation was for a different hotel but Expedia couldn't get the info over to the hotel so we could check in. After a 30min phone call to somewhere in India they moved us down the street. I'm done with third party booking!

Its a nice place. The hotel was nice. Room was large. I had no issues with the hotel and area. But I wouldnt stay again. I paid for a king, got a queen. The gap around the door to the hall let in light all night. The bed was super hard. And the flush. Goodness, it sounded like it was about to launch every time we flushed. Guarantee it will never clog.

We booked a double queen suite at the Candlewood. When we arrived, they told us they had visitors who extended their stay so they no longer had a room for our group. They offered us a room with 1 queen and two cots, but for the same price with no discount. The cots were awful and we payed full price… even after speaking with the manager about this. She claimed that since we booked with Expedia, we weren’t able to be refunded or discounted.

Wonderful accomodations... Basically a condo 😆. Refrigerator, recliner, bathrooms WITH DOVE SOAP AND BODY WASH and LOTION...C'mon now...Not the generic fake stuff. Microwave, utensils...etc, couldn't ask for better a better setup

are you kidding me?
they called me the day before check in to tell me they were moving my room to another hotel farther away. i booked my room months ago. i had to pay the difference to the new room, over $80 more per night, drive the extra 25minutes to get there, and they gave no apologies. only an excuse of , "well, we have to move others also". i wouldnt book with them if they fave me a free room. customers dont matter here.

They booked the rooms for us months in advance. On the day before our stay they called and said they to move us to another motel 15 miles away. Said something happened but as we went went by there we saw the reason. They had 30 trucks there from a power company. So they got a better price for multiple rooms and kicked. Their already booked guests to the curb. So take care.

My grandson and I visited to attend the Royals games. The general manager checked us in and was so personable and informative about the area and the hotel's amenities. Everyone we encountered was friendly. We had a 1br suite and it was perfect! Clean, spacious and we could not hear our neighbors. Will definitely stay here again!

Great property, very quiet as it is set back from main streets. Location is great with access to many restaurants and shopping. Easy to get to and from Kauffman & Arrowhead Stadiums. Pool and hot tub area was clean, billiard area was nice as well. No complaints about the property as well, very safe neighborhood. Will stay here again when in town!

Overall pleasant stay. Removed 1 star because noise carries from room to room a little too loudly and there is something strange about the water there that makes you feel like you can never rinse soap off completely.

Great hotel in convenient location
This was a great hotel for our four-day trip to Independence. Very smooth check in process, great staff. Our room was very spacious with a full kitchen and large work desk. Our room was very clean, comfortable bed! Bonus was the pool, game room, and the biking trail nearby. We liked this hotel quite a bit, and will definitely return!
