I traveled a long way from US to Swiss (Villa 12 is on the border between Swiss and France), and had to work on the arriving day, so I got at the Villa 12 Guesthouse around 8:30pm, that is very normal time for a hotel/Guesthouse check-in time. If you have plans for Basel, Switzerland, it's better to stay in Basel as you get a free travel card and a half-fare card for visiting any attractions. "Stayed here many times as gives a reasonably priced option for Basel. Tram stop less than 5 mins walk away which takes you into central Basel in 10 mins. Hotel itself is fabulous. I’ll stay again. "
