"The Cabin was an amazing property - chic, comfortable, right near the Konpira shrine and the Kabuki theater. AND created and managed by a collective of young people in the town! Thoughtful details, great showers, toilets, beds, bedding - we really felt well accommodated. We would definitely stay again, and look forward to the further evolution of the space."

"Kotohira Onsen Onyado Shikishimakan was 1 of about 8 hotels we stayed at over about 2 weeks in Japan. While all the places we stayed were good, this was the best. Their onsen is outstanding as were the meals. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to experience the Real Japan!"

"Staff was really helpful about ferry schedule to nearby Islands and bus schedule to nearby beaches. They made a lot of helpful suggestions and everything was very smooth.
