"Nice Hotel
I want to rate the hotel 5 stars because it achieves what it is trying to. The staff was great. Food at dinner was great and people are very kind. Breakfast was great too.
But I feel they missed on what the place could be. It is a mix of historic and modern industrial. The rooms are nice but generic with higher quality Ikea type furniture. I don't feel any connection to on to the past. But like I said if you want a nice hotel then you'll be happy here. "

"Hello, we arrived at the hotel and there was nobody. After finding the phone number I called but the person did not speak English. Somebody sent a text message confirming that the boss forgot to prepare the check-in and the key in a box. Then later, somebody asked to wait another hour. We canceled the reservation. I hope Expedia has other better hotels. There are many good hotels in Maribor. Don't book the S hotel!"
"The guesthouse was clean and in a quiet area, with convenient access to public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the facilities felt a bit outdated and the WiFi connection could be improved. Overall, it was a decent stay for a short visit."

"Functional and in a decent location to explore the small but pretty town of Maribor. Rooms and public areas look nothing like the photos on Expedia, to the extent we question if it’s the same hotel! It was clean and staff were pleasant, but all the vending machines were out of order so no water or coffee available "
"Absolutely amazing place. Great location! Super clean, super luxurious especially for the price. My only negative was no clue with parking to check in, you have to find parking which they don’t tell you ahead of time, you have to park under the grocery store which is few blocks away. I noticed many people lost and no where to park and then struggling with their luggage up the stairs and across the cobble stoned roads, trying to find the hotel. Now that I know where to park it was totally fine and loved the hotel, would absolutely stay again. Again park under the grocery store down by the river. Or call and ask where it’s located. "
"Comfortable & stylish hotel in heart of the pedestrian area of Maribor. A 2-minute walk takes one to the city center with dozens of restaurants. The hotel room and amenities were new, stylish, modern & of high quality. Super AC which was needed on a 35-degree day. Easy and safe parking in secure garage under hotel."
