This is a great value in the Kalamata area. The only downside is that you are not right on the beach, but that is more than offset by the fact that, unlike the beach front, it is quiet, every room has a spectacular view and you don't even have to cross the street to go to the beach. The staff are great. The beach front bar is great. Very good, classic Greek food as well. Can't go wrong with this place.

Nice breakfast buffet. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean. The staff is helpful and I would recommend a stay.

Highly recommend for short or long stay
Spectacular views, all rooms face the sea. Very friendly & helpful staff. The pool and beach area are remarkable, so beautiful and comfortable. Outdoor restaurant/bar area delicious, though we wish the menus were more expansive, but we did visit at the end of season. Great location, quiet but close enough to everything being a quick drive away. Already booked our return visit!

Reception staff very helpful. Other staff not really interested in customers. Manager at breakfast was more interested in playing on his phone than looking after customers. There didn’t appear to be a restaurant open in the hotel or nearby to walk to. Nice pool area. Pretty good breakfast selection. Clean, comfortable and pretty good value.

A great experience
The hotel location was good, removed from the heart of Kalamata, quiet, beautiful vistas and outdoor hotel amenities. The staff were always willing to help. One of the evening hotel clerks was able to help us arrange a private tour of Ancient Messini. Thank you! What an unforgettable experience. The hotel food was excellent. Although slightly dated, our room was comfortable and well kept. Would definitely recommend.

Only good if part of large tour group
This hotel is great if you are part of a tour group or on a school trip. If just travelling as a family or solo it is not suitable. It is clean etc but the staff seem miserable and the hotel is not convenient to anywhere. The private beach is all stones and very uncomfortable for swimming. Would only stay here again ONLY if a part of a larger tour group

A nice resort style hotel. Not a great location for exploring Kalamata central unless you have a car. Buses were too infrequent.

HORRIBLE STAY AT MESSENIAN BAY...
First this hotel was 3 stars, and not 4 stars, inside building is old, the rooms small, the front view was ok and swimming was fine.The first day we arrived tierd of travelling and wanted to eat at the hotel, they told us there was a la carte food. So we went and told us cause they are end of saison they don't have so many choice, only pizza and burger, so we order, then they told us after there is not pizza either. The next day we want to stay at the pool and wanted to order some snacks, no snacks either, only coffee. So we have to leave the hotel 2 days before the date of checkout. We went to another hotel better than... We wasent happy at all...

Heel fijn hotel
Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad, alles zag er keurig en schoon uit. Kamer werd goed schoon gehouden en voldoende schone handdoeken, ook voor bij het strand of zwembad kon je blauwe handdoeken vragen bij de receptie. Wij waren er aan het einde van het seizoen, dus was het er erg rustig. Bedden zijn prima. Ontbijt was ook heel goed verzorgd. Wij komen zeker terug.

Slitet hotell på bra läge.
Fint läge och utsikt, annars var vistelsen långt ifrån förväntan. Inte värt pengarna. Tydliga renoveringsbehov. Frukost under förväntan med begränsad variation, kalla varor och torrt bröd. Receptionisten som tog hand om utcheckningen frågade kring vår upplevelse, men visade inget genuint intresse för vårt feedback utan bara sade (något surt) att bröd köpes dagligen. Extra avgift som debiteras av hotellet och betalas på plats blev 12 euros (3 per natt) medan, som vi såg senare, det står 6 euros (alltså 1,5 per natt) i appen. Trots hotellets fina läge kommer vi varken komma tillbaks eller rekommendera till någon annan att bo där.

Sehr schöne Anlage für sehr wenig Geld
Die Zimmer sind einfach und billig möbliert aber geräumig. Wie oft in GR braucht die Duschanlage mal eine Renovierung. Kleiner Balkon mit super Blick. Frühstück GR-Standard also 3-. Aber sehr angenehme Pool-Anlage, Strandbar und ein kleiner niedlicher Strand. Service ok. Zehn Minuten von Kalamata entfernt. Bei den sehr moderaten Zimmerpreisen ist das insg. eine sehr empfehlenswerte Adresse

Great
Very nice hotel, great breakfast, very good food (and cheap). Perfect pool and lounge chairs even on the beach (pebbles). Highly recommended.

Υπεροχη τοποθεσια, πανω στη θαλασσα. Ολα τα δωματια εζουν προσανατολισμο προς την θαλασσα.Το δωματιο ευρυχωρο αλλα το μπανιο μικρο. Καλο πρωινο και πολυ ευγενικο προαωπικο

Emplacement exceptionnel, les pieds dans l'eau avec une vue magnifique depuis toutes les chambres. Petit déjeuner complet à prendre sur la terrasse. Bar et restaurant sur place. Personnel agréable. Second séjour.

Très bon hôtel à proximité de Kalamata
Très bon hôtel à proximité de Kalamata. Belle piscine ainsi qu’un accès direct à la plage avec transats et parasols pour les clients de l’hôtel. Buffet petit-déjeuner copieux.

Hotel mit wunderbarem Meerblick
Schönes Standardhotel für diese Preislage, Terrassensnlage über den Pool zum kleinen Hoteleigenen Kiesstrand, sehr gepflegt. Kleines Standard Zimmer mit phänomenalem Meerblick. 35köpfige jugendgruppe leider sehr präsent, sonst alles in Ordnung.
