"This place was above and beyond my expectations. The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking. The location is perfect for someone who wants a peaceful stay by the sea. The hosts Angelo and Angela are incredible. I called Angela my fairy godmother, there was absolutely nothing she couldn’t fix or help with. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

"So much stuff missing from the villa that was advertised that we couldn’t have a comfortable stay. No TVs in bedrooms as advertised (not an issue for most, I know. But one of our party has trouble sleeping so we booked specifically for this reason). No plugs in any of the baths, kitchen appliances and microwave didn’t work. Couldn’t cook a meal for our family as there were no utensils and only one pan. Wires hanging out of all the walls. WiFi didn’t work. The hot water only lasted long enough...

Our stay at the Bitzaro Boutique Hotel in Zakynthos was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel boasts a prime, convenient location that makes exploring the island effortless. Every morning started right with a delicious breakfast spread offering plenty of variety, including fantastic hot eggs cooked to order. Lovely hotel situated on the square with views of the port and a short walk from the shops and restaurants. Very helpful, polite and friendly staff . The room was very clean and tidy, well furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a stay in town , to be close to all amenities and yet quiet enough for a good nights sleep.

I have visited Zakynthos frequently, but never before during (Orthodox) Easter, which fell very late this year.
I remember the Strada Marina being built on the harbour-front in the early 1970s, but I have never stayed there before now.
Considering its age, it must have been very well maintained over the years, although I can't comment on the pool which was not yet open. Our room was at the front of the hotel, very spacious, and the view from the balcony was just as I'd imagined -...

Our room was spacious and clean, the bed and pillows extremely comfortable and even though we were road facing it was very quiet.
A lovely bathroom with a great assortment of toiletries.
The huge unexpected bonus was the breakfast. The variety was vast, the quality fantastic and everything we had was totally delicious.
We were very impressed with the food on offer.
Obviously a family run hotel and Maria the perfect host.

We had a great time at Herodotos Studios in the second half of September. First and foremost, Keri Lake is a tiny village and lacks the loud and, to us, unappealing, Brit-centric characteristics of other parts of the island. There are no English breakfasts or Shamrock Irish pubs here. As many have noted, the water in the hotel is not potable; there are 2 stores within 100 metres of the hotel where large jugs of water can be purchased. The rooms on the 3rd floor have very high, beautiful, wood...

A stunning, spotless and brand new apartment. Very stylish and Anastasia was a great host. Excellent choice to explore the North of the island while still allowing easy access to the beaches and Zakynthos Town further South.
