Atlantica Kalliston Resort - Adults Only

"Decent hotel overall which ticks all the boxes without quite reaching any particular 'wow' factor. The private loungers on the beach were a highlight and the beach is clean with good sand, clear water and great for swimming. Theres also 2 additional pools which are decent and not busy even in peak season when we visited. Being an adults only hotel meant that it was peaceful without noisy kids taking over, however there are a lot of screeching cicadas in the area which are a bit like sitting next to a car alarm especially on the room's balcony area. We opted for half board which was unnecessary as we went into town for dinner, the evening buffet was ok but not amazing, breakfast buffet was good though. From chatting to locals this is one of the bigger hotels in the area and one of the few adults only. Its well regarded locally but having been to varoius other 5 star places it wasnt exceptional, but for Chania its a very good option. The hotel is well located with a handy public bus service into old town; Chania town is very pleasant and has a lot of good places to eat but the best restaurants are away from the harbour. Overall an enjoyable stay."

"We had a fantastic stay, my whole family (13 of us !) including 83 year old father with mobility issues and super active 5 year old niece were all very well looked after. The hotel has a great family feel with no loud loutish behaviour from other guests. Excellent food, I would strongly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing family getaway."

"Great holiday. Easy check-in, great team of staff that took care of every need we had; including a late check out request. The room was lovely and clean, with water supplied daily. We enjoyed cooling off in our plunge pool too. The breakfast service and breakfast selection was great. The beach is beautiful, with calm clean water. There were plenty of available loungers, towels provided, you could order delicious quality food and drinks direct from your lounger, which is brought to you. The beach bar, Sushi restaurant/bar and main restaurantall all serve delicious, high quality dishes... the main restaurant's al a carte dinner menu and desserts were amazing, with beach views and relaxed entertainment for ambience! Equally, the room service was excellent too. I'd definitely return because the team and staff are great and so are the facilities with a relaxed vibe, and lots of quiet and peace if you want it."

"Nice sized room, comfy bed, pillows a little too soft but that's a personal preference. Great air conditioning. Small shower room, it had a hand held shower and also a rainfall shower with very good pressure and a shower curtain. We had a pleasant patio area to sit outside. Room cleaned and bins emptied daily mirror. Quiet location, rooms soundproofed. Beach towels provided and Nelly lent us an umbrella for the beach. Would stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mossa. It felt like home away from home and was exactly what we needed for a holiday. It's a 5 min walk to the beach, breakfast was generous with lots of options and warm service. Arrival was smooth - we were late and arrived after midnight, but the hotel was looking out for us. We loved Christos' dance class, and had the joy of joining their wonderful dance event on Monday. We hired bikes to explore Chania and enjoyed a day trip to Samaria Gorge organised by the hotel. We also had amazing restaurant recommendations from the hotel, couldn't be happier. Thank you for our stay and we’d love to come back another time."

"Can’t wait to go back. We were originally staying in a villa but the host cancelled a week before we flew out. The team at Okeanis Elysium couldn’t have been more helpful. We spoke to them directly and they were upfront about the remaining work being done at the hotel but sent pictures of the rooms, private pool and communal pool (all immaculate). We used their neighbouring hotel for breakfast which was great and despite the occasional noise of renovation work being done, we found most of it came from another building close by that had nothing to do with them. The staff were so friendly, we got to see images of how everything will look when 100% completed. Looks amazing and very high end. At the pace of the work being done during our 1 week holiday, they will be completely finished very soon and we can’t wait to go back again. Too many hotels have images from 10-15 years ago and look outdated when you arrive. This place is BRAND NEW!"
