"It’s got an amazing location. It felt like they are letting the hotel go down a bit though. The staff serving the pool area was paper thin. Cabana rentals that use to be $500 are now $1700/day. Our room had a broken ceiling light we had to have a repair man do for over a hour and even after that it stopped working again. The tongs and glasses in our room had built up food grime on them. Wait times at restaurants were long to nonexistent there, even though they had plenty of open tables. Just not the happy experience we use to have in years past going there."
"This property have everything we need. While the breakfast is free, it could have better options bec a week of the same food gets old. Maybe add some hash browns, bacon on other days then pancakes instead of stale waffles every day. We loved that it is close to everything yet away from the chaos of the beach front. We feel secure and our valuables were all safe and intact. Glad we picked to stay here over at Lahaina/ Kaanapali side. The Polynesian hula dance concert shows at the Wailea shops were an added bonus. So we felt we didn’t miss out on HI culture even if the property had no entertainment or cultural experience to offer. "
"Staff was nice, I did find cockroaches in my room. When I told the staff they asked me what I wanted them to do about it.... other than that there is a nice full kitchen and an easy walk to the BEACH."
"Grounds were beautiful. Easy walk to beaches that were perfect for snorkeling and sandcastles. The pools were so much fun. We had a lovely time and our grandkids had a blast! The rooms with an ocean view were so worth it!"
