Served the purpose but wouldn't rush back. Paid extra for executive beach front lodge - good size, good amenities, but tatty, and very rustic. As a result - clean enough but not perfect. Upsides, easy parking outside lodge, FABULOUS sunset on the beach and felt safe.

Unfortunately, the room is not soundproof as stated because we could hear everything from the guests in the next room including their toilet duties! Room is decorated great and is clean and tidy. We wish we had a better sleep and experience because it’s a great concept.

We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again.
