Excellent stay! Super clean, reception very friendly, room was excellent, very modern and had very good kitchen amenities. Comfortable beds with nice linen. Would definitely stay again.

We booked this last minute when we checked out of another awful hotel in Tongariro. This was blissful in comparison. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. A 20 minute walk down to the riverside, we found this charming artistic community just lovely. It is just off the main road, but traffic noise was definitely not an issue for us.

This was an immaculately clean , homely room. Close to the town centre easy walking distance.
The free netflix made a big change to other motels we had stayed in.

Although slightly jaded the rooms were clean and tidy. Bathroom akin to a 'Tardis' with a huge Shower.
Mini Kitchin excellent.
Bed very comfortable.
Overall i would thoroughly recommend as great stay value for money.

Manager made us feel very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. A brand new cabin was commissioned for us so that we could have a Bath included.

One night only but made very welcome and even brought some fresh melon slices in the evening! Even though we arrived early were able to get into our room which was a treat! Easy location to find and nice walk along the river into the surprisingly pleasant town area. Close to the interesting Durie Elevator and well worth climbing the tower next to it!
