From Kagbene, Nepal along the Annapurna Circuit I took this picture looking north to the Mustang Region of Nepal. Only those with special permission were allowed to travel to the Mustang Region.
Kagbeni, just a few days walk from Thorung La Pass, is one of the Annapurna Circuits most picturesque towns. It's full of old stone buildings, hidden alleys and the Himalayas very own Yakdonalds!

A piece of heaven
A small piece of heaven in the middle of nowhere - gorgeous views, calm and very relaxing. The room was big, comfortable and with massive windows facing Nilgiri. It might have been expensive, but it was worth it after a week trekking the Annapurna circuit. The food was great too!

We were well taken care of. Had a chance of true Nepali spirit, friendliness, and cooking here. Quite close to Temple entrance so we don't have to walk a lot. Had a memorable stay
