"We generally use this hotel for transiting to the Nilgiris. We find it to be very suitable for us. The rooms are cheerful with very nice views of yhe surrounding hills. Everything in good working condition too. Hotel housekstaff are very good & so are the lovely, ever smiling, ready to please Tangerine restaurant staff. Praneesha & Nandhana too at the restaurant are superb. Overall a great & happy experience in this cozy hotel."

"Shambala is a quiet plantation stay a few kilometers away from Yercaud Lake and the other busy tourist areas. The manager, Mr. Ravi, front desk manager, Jayaram, Chef Sundar and the restaurant and maintenance staff all personally attend to you and offer really great service. The place is clean and well maintained, and there is wifi even inside the rooms."
