"Die Unterkunft insgesamt empfehlenswert Aber für mich hat der Checkin Prozess nicht funktioniert und ich konnte über den offiziellen Weg 45min niemanden erreichen und stand draußen in der Kälte. Der Mitarbeiter hat sich anschließend zwar entschuldigt aber eine Entschädigung wäre aus meiner Sicht angemessen gewesen."

"Wir hatten im Waldhotel Bärenstein eine schöne Zeit verbracht. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer. Mit dem Personal waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das einzige was von uns zu bemängeln war ist das Abendessen. Wir hatten das Gefühl das Essen war nicht frisch gekocht sondern aufgewärmt. "

Generally this hotel is good, the only two problems are the noise from driving car is very large, also the check-in time is very late (17:00, we were lucky to check-in early at 15:00)."

"This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited. "Big quiet room. Great bed. Close to all shops in Oerlinghausen. Parking not to easy. You have to walk up stairs from the 24 hour parking area. Everything close to the hotel is only 2 hour parking enforced by police. Bathroom was not very clean - especially the shower. Restaurant only open from Thursday to Sunday. So we had to find other restaurants for Tuesday and Wednesday. Very friendly owners/staff!"
