"Positive Stuff: *The included breakfast buffet was delish. Servers at breakfast and dinners were great.*Plenty of great restaurants in walking distance via beach. *Security personnel was plentiful. *Rooms were spacious-loved having a full kitchen. *Beautiful grounds-landscaping and outside maintenance top notch including the beachfront. *Beach towels provided and plenty of beach lounge chairs available. Negative Stuff: *Mattress was like sleeping on rocks-our family had 4 rooms and they all said the same. *Bartenders didn’t care to provide service-never acknowledged anyone, walked past you so many times until you got their attention-this was not due to them being busy. They either hate their job/boss, hate good tips, or both. *Both pools were hot bath water-the opposite of refreshing. *Found a pile of hair not mine on our shower upon arrival & killed a giant roach/water bug in bedroom."

"What a great place to stay and a perfect place off the beaten path! All the staff were friendly and communication was top-notch with WhatsApp group messages every day full of recommendations, history and overall tips. They were also very responsive to all our questions. Food on site was always tasty and there was lots to do, from paddling, to games (ping pong, darts, corn hole), nightly/daily events (bingo, live music, bonfire, local market), DIVING (dive shop on site was outstanding) and easy to walk to a few other spots or drive/get a ride to West End. We loved sitting out on our balcony every day with coffee. Wifi was super fast and reliable."

"Amazing Stay at Kimpton Roatan"

"Needed a place to stay on Roatan the night before my flight to the states. Stayed on Utila for a week. Posado was a inexpensive cute little spot that sufficed my needs and was centrally located in West End just a short taxi ride from the ferry dock into the airport"

"Arrived at 10:00 pm and the shower would not work. Called Hotel.com and the hotel office and no one could dispatch maintenance. They arrived at 8:00 next morning. This shower head was defective so it lets me know house keeping did not clean the shower area properly. Plus the A/C was turned down to 16 and it would not cool the apartment. So for this visit and unit, I was not happy."

"My cabin was perfect, had all the creature comforts, great water pressure and I could walk straight out to the beach. The food was great! I looked forward to the breakfast every morning. The staff was so wonderful and helpful. I can’t wait to return."

"What a great spot! I have stayed at several places in Roatan and this is by far one of the best! Super clean! The staff is super attentive and super friendly! Never once did they make me feel like me and my partners were unwanted! Such a lovely spot and super private! 10/10 would recommend!"

"The location was really far from the airport, so it cost thirty bucks to get there... But the place was very clean, and there was a great chinese restaurant right below it. The bakery also on the 1st floor the cinnamon rolls in there were some of the best. I've had fresh fresh fresh... But the hotel rooms are on the third floor in a very large building.So it's very hard to get fifty pound suitcases up the stairs unless you have a gentleman with you.. This is the second time i've stayed there in a week coming to and from Utila and the second time I've had to take a cold shower. Because for some reason, I can't get hot water in that shower.. Definitely hot water in the sink. But I actually left the water, run for at least 15 minutes. And still not freezing cold.But too cold for a normal, comfy shower.. Had no choice. It would have had a five star if not for this problem..."
