"This is an absolutely stunning B&B down to every detail. The owners and staff were helpful and it’s a perfect location if you want to take the ferry to the Urnes Stave Church(the oldest of the remaining Stave churches) which is beautiful and well worth the trip. Breakfast was great too. The downsides are: 1) sharing bathrooms; 2) tiny rooms; and 3) no close restaurants for dinner so eat first in the neighboring town."
"Rooms were clean. In the top bunk bed, the mattress was taller than the railing and therefore not safe for children to sleep. No shampoo or body wash provided. The view was incredible "

"What a wonderful hotel in an amazing location, high up overlooking Geiranger Fjord. Great host and staff who were very welcoming. We had no issue but future patrons should know that there is no lift/elevator. Very highly recommended. The best hotel during our trip so far. Indeed, the bar has been set by this hotel."

"Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country.
We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."
