"The view, atmosphere created by the staff and hotel’s gentle grandeur was lovely, but our room was suoer hot (no air conditioning and a wall of south facing windows that only opened slightly) and the layout of the room was odd (likely due to limitations when upgrading the historic hotel). But overall it was lovely. "

"This is a lovely property in a beautiful spot. We stayed in one of the historic rooms in the main building. It was comfortable, quiet, and the water pressure was excellent. The three course dinner with wine pairings was delicious and beautifully presented, if a tad pricey. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. A unique hotel experience that we would definitely do again."

There’s a nice restaurant about 5 minutes from the property, including a grocery store; there is also a cafe about 2 minutes away driving or less than 10 minutes walking distance."
