"Stunning. The most relaxing hotel I've ever stayed at. Food was incredible, but pricey, skid the starters (cheaper to order a 2nd entree if you're hungry). Absolutely incredible stay! We stayed in late February and the breeze was incredible. The staff was amazing, the rooms were incredible but only lock from the inside (and they have a safe in each room) I actually loved that I didn't have to worry about a key, and because every room is like that, no one will rob you because everyone's room is that, feels like a great honor system, plus for the price per night, it's not attracting people who steal. The views are incredible, such a peaceful and healing private island. The showers, WOW, the most iconic high end outdoor showers I've ever experienced (we got to try 2 very different rooms). Two gyms, one indoor with an ocean view, one outdoor jungle gym style."

"Absolutely amazing stay! From Reservations to check in, Karen and Nigel were warm, efficient and helpful. The views are amazing, the terrace was a lovely spot for coffee, re-charging and a glass of wine in the evening. The space is airy and bright and the location between White and Great Bay can’t be beat. Very easy to walk down to the ferry or Great Bay. We walked to White Bay quite often-it is definitely more challenging but we appreciated the opportunity to not have to work out while on vacation! We rented one of the cars for a day to see the island, which was perfect-went to the Bubbly Pool, Sidney’s, Abe’s, Taboo and hiked a bit. Driving is not for the faint of heart, but taxis are available! Will recommend to anyone going to JVD and look forward to our next trip!"
