I usually get a day room at City Lodge Hotel on my way out of Joburg. I choose them because they typically have a good online rate for an overnight stay. Premier Hotel OR Tambo
Nice upscale hotel near the airport. Comfortable beds, nice linens, very quiet. Got a good nights rest here. Staff was exceptional. Breakfast is great (not free. ZAR 225) with lots of choices.

Holiday Inn Johannesburg Airport by IHG
We arrived after 24 hours of plane travel. We were great warmly, even though the staff was very busy with some unhappy travelers. I room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Restraunt staff was exceptional ecspecially Lizwe. I would definitely stay again
