"Reception area is stunning and can’t be faulted. But then the hotel lets down. Feels like it was a lovely hotel 30 year ago. The price is a lot for the area. Very nice departing gift. But unfortunately doesn’t make up for the tired and overpriced stay. "

"Hidden gem in the middle of plenty of things to do. The room was perfect and we were close to the restaurant for breakfast. We could easily get a car to go anywhere in the area. The Tibetan influence of the area was very engaging. There is a restaurant near there that serves a yak stew that is the best. The pics are from local places. The staff was the most curious and helpful people I have encountered."

"The property is approximately 2 hours by car from Huanglong jiuzhai train station. If taking the shuttle bus, which takes 2 hours, and another 4-6min taxi ride uphill from the main road. The uphill drive is winding, but you be rewarded with a stunning view of the mountains. Every room is built facing the mountains. "I feel a bit upset and disappointed of choosing this hotel because the variety of restaurant is limited, only 1, also I paid extra for the mountain view but I only get small little part of mountain view, instead in front of me is all trees not the mountain view. "
