Terrible experience

Do not book this.Waited at property for over 2 hours and nobody showed up to let us in. Had to get another accommodation through vrbo help line. The area is not good. Book something else.

We were booked in for 4 nights and checked out after the first night The property is advertised as having a cool Bali experience and offers anything but! It's so far away you need a car /scooter or the extra expense of drivers. 2.3 km to main road walking. Self catering tea /coffee supplied no milk as listed to accompy breakfast which was Bread, stale eggs only supplied 1 each, butter (past it's use by date) and spreads with green oranges !! The kitchen equipment was nothing short of discusting !rusty toaster, frypans so badly burnt and marked only fit for the bin and 1 tea towel plus a dishcloth so bad I binned it. cleanless not up to what you would expect for over $100 a night in the suburbs of Jimbranan.especially as they have citi the cleaner who comes in daily ! I have made the co owner aware of the things that need addressing if they continue to rent this villa including removal of the toilet seat badly stained &very old,fix the crumbling walls behind the beds which have left lots of dust all over the floor given they had placed huge golf ball size moth balls everywhere leaves me feeling damp is a huge issue for this property it caused me sneezing all night. I'm a well seasoned traveller and just look for the basics to be right I was left feeling they grab your money and do very little to 1.maintain this property or 2. Offer well thought out needs for International travellers only 1 bath towel each no extra towel for pool use. attention to detail is urgently needed

Great Bali stay out of main tourist area

Loved Casa Nuri, it is out of the main tourist areas which is really nice. Could do with a lick of paint, but other than that the beds were comfortable, the rooms were air conditioned and the pool was fabulous. Our cleaning lady came in each day and did a great job. Based not far from Nusa Dua and easy access, accept for Bali traffic to Sanur etc.

For first timers to Bali, overall our stay was pleasant! Being located in a quiet suburban street away from the hustle & bustle of the Bali tourist spots was nice. We did travel by taxi's to various locations during our one week stay: Jimbaran Bay Seafood Restaurants, Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Nusa Dua, Ubud, Uluwatu etc., this was no issue to us as taxis are so cheap. The Villa was cleaned well daily, full sweep & mop to floors, breakfast dishes washed, bathroom cleaned & beds made. Day 1 we had cable television, unfortunately this was cut off day 2, we contacted the property mgr who said the bill had been paid & the issue was with the provider, it should be back on within 24 hrs. To our disappointment cable television did not reconnect until the day of check out. We were also disappointed that we did not receive fresh towels during our 1 week stay & that the replenishment of breaky spreads, choice of new fresh fruit & replenishment of milk was sparing. Day 2 of our stay we finished the individual serve honey and strawberry jam, we also only received bananas & mandarins the first 2 days, then 2 days before check out we finished the milk provided, the milk & spreads were not replenished. We did have eggs daily; however some days we were given chocolate bread, therefore were unable to have eggs on toast! Wifi connection was terrible, we could only use Viber. Email, facebook & other social media pages were not accessible at all.

Nice change from a Hotel

We had a lovely stay, it was like being at home. Spacious, private and always cleaned beautifully. The food bought in each day was helpful. Fantastic warung just minutes away for cheap but amazing food. Staff at Casa Nuri were always there when we needed them. Terima Kasih we will be back.

Great hosts - felt welcome immediately

What a lovely villa - away from the usual hustle and bustle that is Bali. Close to local restaurants, and the convenience of a number of 24 hour markets. Between Jimbaran and Nusa Dua, with easy access to either with a motorbike. Had a great time staying here, and loved dipping into the private pool at the drop of a hat.
