Even though the drive up to the haveli is not the most comfortable, it transports you through time once you enter the gates. The peacocks roaming in the garden, the beautiful flowers and the excellent food is perfect for a quiet getaway from the hustle. "

You can also unwind with a drink by the bonfire. They also have a stable and organise horse-riding trips - if only I had more time!! I cannot wait to be back!! "

"The property claims to be a haveli, but the old haveli is not used much for the average traveler as there is a common living area adjoining four bedrooms. So, most of the “ normal” rooms are in brand new buildings that are not havelis. The grounds are lovely and peaceful. The waiter in the restaurant improved dramatically with a small amount of guidance from one morning to the next. The front desk man who “arranged” our guided tour of havelis in Nawalgarh and Mandawa charged us a rather high...
