"This is my new favorite hotel! My room was nicely decorated and the more importantly clean and well maintained. The shower was amazing! I would like to have a fridge and microwave in the room but that's not a deal breaker. The casino is very nice. The restaurant is excellent! The food was delicious with very reasonable prices. I was thrilled that I didn't have to pay for parking! I will stay again!"

"I liked the overhead lighting in the room and the bed was good. I found it clean and it was a good value for the budget price. We stayed 9 nights and liked the location, A/C, and friendly staff. No Breakfast, but food on either side of motel."

Super 8 by Wyndham Big Cabin/Vinita Area

"The lady at the front desk was very helpful. The first room she gave us had very little air conditioner actually coming out of the vent so she moved us to the room next-door, which had the same problem. She then moved us around the corner to another room which had more than acceptable amount of air-conditioning although on a really hot summer day could have been questionable. The bed was very comfortable & clean. The shower seemed to have been remodeled compared to the first two that she gave us. The TV was definitely newer in the third room. There was the weirdest thing in a hotel like this that still has carpet on the floors; there was a bidet in the bathroom and it actually worked! Weird for a Super 8, but ok…The room smelled too much like chemical cleaning products and all had carpet. It’s in a great location right next to a Love’s and could be like a really great property if they would put some work into the rooms. It was really cool that whoever actually does own the hotel and live there had a really awesome garden. it was acceptable since she was able to place us in a room with a working air conditioner, but for the price we have had way way better hotels that fit into the same category as a Super 8. Also, she said she didn’t know which rooms had a good air conditioner or not. There needs to be a list and they need to give customers the ones that actually work and fix the other ones."

"We may be more particular than most people. In our room (402), the door to the balcony needs repaired as is hard to open & the shower nozzle needs replaced. Cleaning of the room was just okay/not excellent. Pool area was beautiful & Doc’s was a nice amenity. We were particularly disappointed in the Summit Restaurant, which has excellent service but the food quality was lacking. Everything was heavily over-peppered. Overall Shanghai-La Resort is a beautiful facility in a gorgeous location. We just maybe expected a little higher standard in our room."
