Mr. Arun Gupta had made the above booking for 2 days for himself and Mrs Renu Gupta. Both are very genuine and ethical people and the hotel management had held an honorary dinner in their respect with few delegates of the city. We had also guided them on the places to visit in Janakpur and assisted them in retrieving their luggage from Kathmandu which was left behind during their flight.Both the guests were impressed with the hospitality and commended us during their departure.We believe this review was for another property during their visit to Nepal and would request the guest to inform us if its for us and what mistake did we make.We strive to have our guests a comfortable stay and look for ways to improve based on their feedback,Kindly requesting the guests for the same

Very tired hotel in desperate need of maintenance and a deep clean. Very helpful reception staff but overall not worth the price

Good staff but in a horrible town.
No garden or anywhere to sit. Food the worst in 3 weeks. But, comfortable bed and hot shower. Clean

good choice in Janakpur
Hotel Welcome is a good choice for Janakpur. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Shower is small but sufficient. Staff does not speak much english, but try to help as much as they can

Very friendly and helpful personnel. Hotel is being renovated. Rooftop restaurant, best in town, 200 meters away. Watch the BBC documentary about railroad Janakpur to India before your visit. Then visit the old station and the, with taxi, repair shop. Hotel will help arrange taxi to repair shop. The area is famous for mithila paintings. If you visit the train repair shop, stop on the way to visit and see mithila on houses. Then visit JWDC to buy some paintings.
