I was checked into a suite the first day on 18th Oct. but then after checking in they claimed to make a mistake to ask me to move out of mu suite at Rm: 1025 corner room to Rm: 702, normal Deluxe room, it is a hassle for me because I have already laid out all my clothing for the week and got to move to the 7th floor in another room. The hotel needs to be more vigilance in future.

All in all, it was all right. For your short stay, this hotel is very reasonable compared to the room and facility quality and staff level. However, depending on your departing time, it may be difficult to catch a taxi, grab or go-car.

Fix your AC
Overall is a good property, the ACs sometimes need time to cool the room, but they eventually become effective, but I have stayed here during the summers, and it can get very hot in the rooms with the AC cranked up full.

Lovely comfortable hotel with great room service
The hotel was very comfortable with lovely friendly staff. Didn't have a chance to try the pool. Hotel was centrally located and room service was excellent and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was a huge buffet to cater for all tastes.

Hotel with basic amenities. Located next to KPK, Indonesia anti-corruption agency. Not near to eateries and shopping. Breakfast spread is acceptable and they make sure there is daily change of menu.

Worst service
The overall employee service rating is bad. Among them, the restaurant service is the worst. The meat quality of the tenderloin steak is also the worst. My question, asking why the stake is like this, was surprised to the staff who answered the stake of this hotel originally.

There were almost zero people who could understand any English, making it very hard to order room service or handle a simple request. The pool was closed. Breakfast food was mostly lukewarm. Internet was horrible in the room and hotel - it would not stay connected for very long and the signal was extremely weak.

not bad (but over-priced drinks)
nice place. BUT, watch out about room-service for drinks. 120 euros for a bottle of gin? We (stupidly) paid 20 euros for 2 rum-colas. It's a bit of a con, really.

Disappointment
Very disappointing with the hotel, 2 things i want to highlight. 1) There is something wrong with the pipe/shower head and when you first start to let the water run, there is always a stale smell coming out from it. 2) This point really disappoint me. Stay for 2 nights. On the first night, i requested 1 ice bucket and 2 wine glasses, the staff delivered to my room within 15 mins and i was charged 15,000 rupiah ( normally for other hotels, i was not charged and i think since the staff make an effort to bring to my room, i don't really mind to pay them including tips). On the second night, i request the same ( 1 ice bucket and 2 wine glass), the staff came 15 mins with ice bucket, 2 set of cutlery and the bill. Well i told them i order ice bucket and 2 wine glass not culteries so i took the ice bucket and paid the bill. 15 mins later, the staff came back with 2 wine glass and NEW BILL !. He informed me that there is no wine glass and they have to loan from the restaurant therefore need to charge me again. I told him off that YOU did not pass me the bucket and 2 wine glass at the same time and i need to pay for your "mistake". I was so dispointed and does not want to make a fuss over it and therefore pay again!! Paid up and wait for my change, guess what happened, it took them 30-45 mins to get the change back. I am so so disapointed with this hotel and i urge fellow travellers staying in the hotel in futures make sure they get every single thing right then settle the BILL!!

It is a new Hotel but the water out of the shower smells like it is already 100 years old. The breakfast and dinner buffets operate on a first come or leave hungry basis. No irons are available in the Hotel. I do not recommend this Hotel.

If you need Wifi, forget it
very nice, clean, not really near anything neighborhoods-wise, but there's taxis for that. Clean, no issues, except you may need to buy bottled water outside, two kid size bottles per day. The Main issue is Wifi. if you have phone or data plan IPad/card it's OK, but if you depend on Wifi like we do, forget it..... This goes back to the hotel claims on all these hotel websites.... They say broadband internet, but then it is not so. Utterly useless wifi.

Clean hotel with great staff. Very good value.
Staff was very helpful and very nice. Any thing asked of them was complied with. Nice old town hotel with clean, spacious rooms. Breakfast was free with stay and was very good.

We stayed 4 days,The Royal K is VERY close to Australian Embassy & about a dozen others.Taxi service is IMMEDIATE.The rooms are soundproof&the marble bathrooms have excellent showers,the bedding (inc pillows) are the most comfortable in the world.The outdoor pool is clean&offers seating in the shade,with small bar service&views across the city.The breakfast is standard continental buffet style & has an egg station(tho,the coffee is terrible)The entire staff speak just 20words of english&they will not correct an incorrect account if this happens to you thru their fault so be diligent if charging anything to your room.If you enjoy an icey cold beer,encourage them on your arrival to stock the fridge(they had just 11 small bintangs in the entire hotel when we arrived)Unfortunately overall service from staff are lacking motivation & appreciation of an easy indoors job.The hotel should promote 'Lia' to staff trainer,she is happy,respectful,enthusiastic,professional,well groomed & voluntarily interacts with guests,despite limited english.We will stay again because of the positive service from Lia & hopefully an improvement in service overall.

Service was really slow. I called the hotel reception before my stay and encountered staff that didn't understand English and then got told they didn't have my reservation. I had to get my agent to sort out the mess. Then I called back to have them book an airport transfer for me, which was a chore in itself because the reception, again, couldn't really understand English. The hotel was no frills, not exactly spotless (floors were slightly sticky, and there was debris on the floor). Sound proofing was non existent. Water provided was very scarce.

HORRIBLE STAY. WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN.
Horrible, horrible stay. I checked in around 2.30 PM. I had 3 bookings for 3 rooms but at first they only found 1 booking, so I had to wait for the other 2 while they search for the email from the website I booked the hotel from. After I finally got to check in, I couldn't enter my room because they said it wasn't ready yet. I waited til 5 PM and when I asked again finally they gave me a room that WAS ALREADY READY since I checked in. Why did they give me a room that was not ready yet? That's not all. Around midnight my sister got a call from front office to her room that I booked her for. The front office asked about the payment of the room. HOW ON EARTH CAN HE CALL A GUEST AT SUCH HOUR? And then he called me from 00.00-00.45. As it was new year's eve I could only answered when I reached my hotel room again. AND I SNAPPED. Where is his hospitality calling a guest at such hour? Couldn't he asked for the payment when I checked in? around 5PM or 8PM? Why MIDNIGHT? Couldn't he wait til morning? As if I tried to flee and not paying. AND WHAT'S FUNNY IS: I ALREADY PAID USING MY CREDIT CARD WHEN I BOOKED THE HOTEL. And then when I checked out I asked whether there is any problem with my bookings. The front office said no. And when I got home, another guy from front office called again asking for my payment. OH MY GOD! The bed was comfy but we found dust in some places, the food is NOT good, and the pools' water is dirty. I'll never return again.

Overrated hotel service
The hotel staff service is good and really helpful, although I did have to call housekeeping, to ask for my laundry. Room service was below 4-star standard, and either was the breakfast menu. Shower released sulfur smell when I opened the hot water tap. Gym facility only operated from 8am to 9pm, too late in the morning and too early in the evening for business guest.

夕食のためレストランを利用しようと部屋から該当する番号に電話したところ、ラマダン期間中で空席なしと言われた。ルームサービスにしても構わないと伝えたところそれもできないと言われた。 滞在者なのにレストランが利用できないのならチェックイン時に伝えて欲しい。
