Stayed 2 nights, a Saturday and Sunday. 1st night was great, quiet, and a good night's sleep. However, Sunday was really loud. The fire alarm went off in our room at 3 AM, and a car alarm started going off for an hour around 5 AM in the morning, which sucked..
No parking on the Main Street, must park in the public parking garage located behind the hotel. Comfy bed, clean rooms. Don’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Staff were wonderful from the time we arrived till we checked out. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and very quiet. We enjoyed all the Halloween decor that added such a nice touch for this time of year. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
Great historic hotel with so much to learn about. Room was very clean and well taken care of. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Fun town full of history. Lots of great antique shops.
Room was small, it's an historic hotel very renovated. Hilton picked it up, front desk great and they held the restaurant open so we could have dinner! Very nice!
The National is a lovely hotel. It is a Hilton, but that's not plastered everywhere! The hotel seems like a lovely local gem where you can come to enjoy Jackson, its history, and environs. Its decor takes you back in time in a warm, inviting way. It is clean, quiet, well maintained, and the staff is so very pleasant and wanting to make your stay perfect.
The parking had me insecure as it is behind the building in the city lot, no area is really designated for the hotel, and there are time restrictions posted all over. The staff were friendly, the hotel and decor charming. They did instruct me the bar restaurant closed at 9 but they were locking up by 8:30 due to no patrons so that was a bit frustrating and the reason for docking a star. Unexpectedly booked here but now it’s on the radar for the next time I pass through. Jackson was a sleepy historic town and a great place to overnight.
It is an interesting historic hotel. My room was small, but very clean, had good bath products, the bed was comfortable and glad that there was a bathtub in the room and air conditioning. The floors are uneven, as happens in old hotels. We had a nice meal for dinner. The service was very friendly and efficient. I shopped on the main street. There were charming shops.
This historic hotel was a fun location. But the room was not clean, and the room didn't have any amenities. There's no coffee maker, iron, or refrigerator in the room. Streaming services on the tv we're limited as well.
